Youth Employment Scheme

(Y.E.S. Youth Employment

Can we make it easy for you to bring great young people into your team and benefit
from subsidies available under the ‘YES’ Scheme?

WPC Group is a leader in linking apprentices and trainees to industry and government organisations. We have been in the business for 30 years. Our approach is based on understanding your organisation and your skills needs so we can place the right person in the right position.
‘YES’ is an important part of the Victorian State Government’s public sector workforce planning and development. Subsidising Traineeships for people aged between 15–24 to contribute to the future skill and employment needs of various departments and business units.

Benefits available to your Department*:

• Up to $4500 for a full time trainee

WPC Group employs trainees to meet your skills needs. We then place them in your business. We will mentor them through their traineeship and handle payroll, Workcover, superannuation and other administrative requirements.
You gain the benefit of having a trainee and contribute to building the future skills needs of your business and industry. WPC Group monitors and manages them for the full length of their training and provides regular training progress reports.
WPC Group trainees have been successfully placed within many State Government Departments over the past 10 years.
We would like to continue building this relationship by creating more positions for great young Australians under the YES program. WPC Group was the employer of the Victorian Trainee of the Year who was hosted to Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development.
